For the next 31 days (started on the 1st) I have set some goals for myself.  I have realized that I am generally a lazy person.  While it bothers me I am usually to lazy to do anything about it.  So I have decided that for one month I am going to work on developing some good habits to make myself less lazy.  Below is a list of my goals:

  • No TV.  I can watch DVD's since I pay for Netflix, and the World Cup championship
  • Only eat out once during the week and once during the weekend.
  • Keep my room and bathroom clean
  • Read two books
  • Complete two 'projects', doesn't matter what, just something productive.
  • Blog more consistently
  • Work out 2-3 times a week

So far the hardest one has been giving up TV.  I will probably relax on the NO tv rule.  The point is not to come home and just lay down in front of the boob-tube and veg all night.  I will probably still watch it when eating as the only place to eat is at the coffee table in front of the TV.  I could just put in a DVD, but then I am more likely to just sit and watch the whole thing, which would be as bad as veging all night in front of the TV.

I hope this all works out well and I'll be sure to report when the month is over.
