You guys have heard about all this mess with Miss USA getting in trouble, and Donald Trump deciding to let her keep her crown if she under goes rehab, right?  Well it's out there if you haven't but when reading about it, I found one website's comments hilarious and thought they need to be shared.  Here's what one site had to say:

But the real moral of the story? You can do anything when you're pretty. Want to punch a fireman in the face? Go for it. Eat a bald eagle? Sure, why not. You've earned it.

So the new year is almost here and it's time to start thinking about new year's resolutions.  I normally don't bother but am interested in trying to set a resolution for a whole year.  This past year I set goals for either several months (the weight loss bet), or for one entire month (July no TV).  Now it's time to move up to the big time.  One resolution/project/goal that has always sounded fun and I think is something I could actually accomplish is called project 365.  The idea is to take one picture every day for a whole year.  Many of you have seen the videos on the net where a person takes a picture of themselves everyday for a year, but this is a bit different.  I have no interest in watching myself change over a year, but I would like to be able to look back and see the entire year of 2007 in 365 photos.  So starting January 1st,  I'm going to take one picture every day for the year of 2007.  It may be of a new restaurant, a new friend I made, or how long my fingernails are but the point is two-fold. First I will have to discipline myself to remember to do it and second it should hopefully make me a better photographer.  Don't worry I'll be posting them online for all to see.

So here's the part where I challenge you to join me.  I think it will be a lot of fun and easy enough to accomplish.  If anyone is interested in joining me in this project please let me know.  I'd be glad to help with all the technical stuff of getting your pictures on the internet.

As I mentioned before, I watch a lot of tv.  One of the shows is Nip/Tuck and the season finale had one of the best moments in tv this year.  The cast lip syncs to The Submarines' 'Brighter Discontent' and summarizes the whole season in 4 minutes.  If you haven't watched the show it won't be as powerful for you, but the song is awesome.  I've watched this video every night for the past week!  I had to post about it hoping that it'll get out of my brain!
